With this report, the team has sought to identify the major gaps and inconsistencies in the existing regulations and policies, in the existing мedical, social and educational practices and standards relating to visual health in Bulgaria. The purpose of the analysis is to serve as a starting point for an informed debate with experts in eye and visual health, with visually impaired persons, and with responsible institutions.
