Event A. Remaking the World: Creativity, Writing and Activism Course

UK writers Dr. Hannah Stevens and Dr. Will Buckingham (Wind&Bones) are offering a two-day course for writers, activists and NGO workers. In this intensive twelve-hour course, we will form a creative community, and explore the issues that mean most to us. We will give our writing skills a boost. And we will find new strategies for powerful communication.

Event B. Writers’ and Activists’ Cafe

Welcome to this informal, weekly gathering for writers and activists in the heart of Sofia. The café offers a rolling programme of events to help you make your voice heard. Let’s work together to bring about change! Suitable for all writers, whatever their level of experience. We’ll offer tea, coffee and snacks. Bring something to write on (paper, or a laptop), and get ready to upgrade your skills.

An interactive writing workshop about manifestos. Come and join us, and go home at the end of the evening with your own manifesto!

18 Feburary 2020: Storytelling with Power
What stories need to be heard? What stories do you need to tell? How can you tell these stories more powerfully? An interactive workshop.

25 Feb 2020: Writing & Editing Lab
Spend an evening sharing your ideas and your writing, with the help of the café’s writers-in-residence, Hannah Stevens and Will Buckingham.
