Empowering Women and Girls through Sports

Whether it's on the field, in the pool, or on the track, women and girls all over the world are leveling the playing field and raising the bar. Grab your camera, get creative, and capture an action shot that celebrates how sports empower women and girls.

Prizes 

• Two Grand Prize winners will receive a tablet computer (iPad 3) and their entries will be displayed at the U.S. Department of State.
• Runners-up will receive ExchangesConnect T-shirts and trading cards featuring the top 20 submissions.

 

Important Notes

• You must be at least 14 years old to enter the contest.
• If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to participate.
• Each member may submit a maximum of two (2) entries for consideration in the contest.
• Entries will be judged by a panel from the U.S. Department of State and photography and sports experts on originality, creativity, effectiveness, and photo quality. What are these?
• Submissions will be accepted from July 24 until September 4, 2012.
