Project Manager and Project Officer, North Africa project, focus on Tunisia and Egypt
The Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza”, jointly with international partners and a local partner has successfully started a school of politics in Tunisia. It is planning to expand this work to other countries in the region. The School and the New Bulgarian University are also developing a distance learning programme for the region. In order to advance its North Africa projects the NBU and the BSoP are looking for two new appointments:
Project manager North Africa, Tunisia, Egypt (full-time or part-time)
Requirements
- University degree, Masters or higher level, preferably in social sciences
- Strong interest in the democratisation processes in North Africa
- Proven experience in international project management, including budgeting and financial reporting
- Excellent English and/or French. Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in development, delivery and management of training and education programs
- Ability to work against tight deadlines
- Computer skills (including Excel, PowerPoint, social media and distance learning platforms)
Some traveling might be required
Project assistant, North Africa, Tunisia, Egypt (full-time or part-time)
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in social sciences, you could be also an MA or a PhD student
- Strong interest in the democratisation processes in North Africa
- International project management experience
- Excellent English and/or French. Knowledge of Arab will be a significant advantage
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work against tight deadlines
- Computer skills (including Excel, PowerPoint, social media and distance learning platforms)
Location: preferably Sofia, other location in Bulgaria or abroad could be considered. Some traveling might be required.
