2012 CEI KEP Call for Proposals

The Central European Initiative (CEI) has launched a Call for Proposals in te framework of the CEI Know-how Exchange Program (KEP).

The KEP aims at facilitating the know-how and best practices transfers between institutions in the EU and non-EU Member States of the CEI. By co-financing capacity building and technical assistance projects, the KEP offers grants to institutions willing to share their experience with their partners in the non-EU CEI member states, thus helping non-members to advance on their path towards EU standards and policies.

The overall indicative amount made available under this Call is 285,000 EUR: 260,000 EUR will be made available by theCEI Fund at the EBRD, entirely financed by the Italian Government, while 25,000 EUR will be made available by the Polish Government to co-finance one or more projects (up to a ceiling of 25,000 EUR) submitted by Polish applicants.

The KEP focuses on the following areas f intervention: European Integration, Capacity Building and Market Economy, Infrastructure Planning and Development, Agriculture, Energy and Environment.

Any grant awarded under this Call shall not exceed fifty percent (50%) of the total cost given project. The maximum grant amount allocated to a single project cannot exceed forty thousand EUR (40,000).
