Bulgaria and Russia, a Complex History

Multi Kulti Collective and Anna Bahryana Art Club invite you to a follow-up lecture on Bulgarian history. The history of Bulgaria for the past two centuries has been deeply affected by Russia. This lecture will explore how that relationship has evolved and what events have created the relationship which continues to define Bulgaria today.

Our host is Eric David Halsey, an American historian and author of The Bulgarian History Podcast (https://www.bghistorypodcast.com/) that features 8 seasons and 183 episodes. He has been developing the project since 2013 and is currently working on a book based on it. He is very passionate about Bulgaria and will share his knowledge in a very engaging and fun way.

The lecture will be held in English. There will be Ukrainian translation provided.
