Crossing Borders: Exploring Social Entrepreneurship in India and Bulgaria

English Language Café and Multi Kulti Collective are happy to invite you to a special evening dedicated to social entrepreneurship!

Our host Bhushan, originally from Mumbai, India, now calls Bulgaria his home for almost the last five years. Professionally, he has been active in the realms of climate change mitigation and social entrepreneurship for the past 12+ years. He is deeply passionate about using technology as a medium to create a long-lasting positive impact in the lives of the underserved and has worked on several initiatives across Asia and Africa. He believes that most of the pressing environmental and social problems we face today can be systematically and sustainably addressed through the power of social innovation and the spirit of entrepreneurship. Join him as he takes you through some live examples of his work, including how he brought solar energy to financially poor households living in darkness in India, and more recently, how he playing music on the streets of Bulgaria is positively impact the lives of 50 women in 44 countries so far with project SHAKTI.

After Bushan’s talk, we will have the opportunity to savour a selection of authentic Indian snacks, offering a unique gastronomic experience.
